Journey Through Life's Challenges: Update, Faith, and Health

Carlos Granados Season 1 Episode 37
Speaker 1:

hello everyone and welcome back to my channel and welcome back into another episode of the cg or other, also known around the world as the carlos granados podcast. Um, yeah, it's been a minute. Huh, it's been, uh, it's been several months. But here we are to catch you up on everything that's been going on with my life. You know everything that's been uh, happening around my life as well. Uh, it's a lot of things. I was actually supposed today, uh, host somebody, uh again, uh, but he couldn't make it. Uh, he's going through through some stuff and some health issues and stuff and whatnot. So it's all good. So what we do is improvise, and here we are, so let's make it happen. First of all, before I even get started with the episode, as always, I want to thank everyone and everybody who has been supporting my channel. When I don't upload episodes, sometimes you guys ask me, you know if everything is good, what's going on, and I appreciate the love, as always. Thank you guys for sharing my content, for always showing love, for liking, commenting. Don't forget that you can listen to this podcast on all the audio platforms you can think of and, of course, you know, if you like it, go over there and show some love, you know, rate it, you know, a five star, leave a good review and whatnot. And also, if you're listening already through the audio platforms, you can watch this video on my YouTube channel in 4K, as I have a list of basically a playlist of all the podcast episodes that I've done with people. All right, so, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, let's get mixing. Man, we're just going to talk a lot today. We're going to discuss a lot.

Speaker 1:

By the way, I bought a little laptop if you're watching this, a little laptop here. I figured it would be cool to have a personal laptop. I bought a PC and that's my gaming PC, but obviously I can't move that over there from my room. Laptop here. I figured it would be cool to have a personal laptop. I bought a PC and that's my gaming PC, but obviously I can't move that over there from my room to here. So I was like, what about during podcasts? If I have questions, if I want to look something up, might as well get a little PC, a little, you know, a little laptop, have it ready, have access and you can just, you know, start searching stuff up and whatnot. I think it'll be pretty cool. So anyways, man, after the last episode that I released, I believe that I uploaded some you know couple YouTube videos in regards to my health and, yeah, essentially we're going to start with that, for those that care about it at all After the winter break, I caught something.

Speaker 1:

It was strep throat C or whatever. I don't even know how I got it, by the way, but I've talked already that on my channel. The thing is, though, it has been prolonging after the winter break, and one of my biggest issues is the fact that I can't breathe through my nostrils. So, because I can't breathe through my nostrils and sleeping at night it's hard, so I have to breathe through my mouth. A lot, um, causes me to snore, uh, even more than I already do. I wake up with, you know, a dry mouth, sometimes my uvula swollen, which is just a pain, you know, and the fact that I can breathe through my nostrils. I'm having to try to breathe and use secondary muscles on my neck so I can just catch, you know, a breath, like pretty deep breath, right. So I've been, you know, seeing ENTs trying to figure out all that stuff. So that's been bothering me a lot and it's unfortunate. Then, of course, course, we have the GERD that came back and it's been causing me a lot of issues.

Speaker 1:

And not only that, ladies and gentlemen, but in my household, um, my grandma has been going through a lot of health issues. You know she's suffering from a congestive heart failure due to a lot of uh, liquid and water buildup. Essentially, long story short, the water and the fluid you know goes up to her heart. The heart can't be very well and of course she's 80 years old, so you know it's already weak and essentially that water goes back into her lungs and you know she essentially can't breathe. You know she suffocates from from that, right, and we've had to take it to the doctor several times already throughout, you know, the three, four months, the last three, four months, um, and each day has been, each day that she has been in the hospital has been longer, unfortunately, you know. So we've been dealing with that. I mean, my sister had to go to the hospital one time, I ended up going to the hospital too, and then my mom ended up going to the hospital, so that's four family members out of six that has ended up in the hospital in literally in the last three to four months.

Speaker 1:

So as a family we've been going through it. We would appreciate. You know a lot of prayers. You know a lot of prayers. You know a lot of love sent our way because as a family we've been going through a lot. It's not easy, you know. Especially, you know I'm already suffering some health issues and we try to take care of my grandma. That's a little bit harder. Obviously, I don't have the greatest relationship with going to hospitals because I've been there, been in and out of it so much. Sometimes I'm going to be honest, you don't like going. It's a weird feeling that you get when you go to hospitals because I've already been in and out. But when it comes to other family members, you got to put that aside and remind yourself that you're going to be okay as well and be there for them. That's what families do, man.

Speaker 1:

I'm very proud of our family and how strong we've been, especially my mom. I know my mom has to deal. She's the rock, the foundation to our family, so we can never thank her enough for what she does I mean especially taking care of my grandma and then she has to look after us. I remember one time my mom ended up falling off the golf cart that we have right and the golf cart landed on her leg. So she was injured for several months and she couldn't do anything physical right. She couldn't be moving around, she couldn't be walking. It was just too painful and I remember how hard it was for us because we missed how much she did for us. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

You know that saying that you don't know what you have until it's gone. Well, in this case, something similar where you don't know how easy your life is until your mom, you know, can't do anything physical and she's out for a while. Uh, so a lot of things in our family. We were just like man, like we. I miss. I miss the little things she does. That makes your life easier, that facilitates your life, right, because, as many as you guys know, my mom is a housewife. So, um, and she does that role exceptionally, especially around our household, and we we're a traditional Latin family. So you know we're all close. She takes care of me. I'm a mama's boy. I'm not afraid to admit that. You know, I'm definitely a mama's boy. My brother's definitely a mama's boy, my sister I guess. She's the princess of the house. So we all miss a mom in that situation. So you know when she's not well.

Speaker 1:

A lot of us are affected by it and in this case, with my grandma and things of that nature, you know it's been hitting us pretty hard. So, definitely, if you know, love prayers our way, and not just for myself, but you can reach out to my siblings. You know they have social media. A lot of you guys friends and family, of course you guys have them on social media as well. Friends and family, uh, of course, uh, you guys have them on social media as well. Uh, and you can even find my mind on my mom on facebook and stuff like that. Uh, and my stepdad as well. So, hey, you know what? Even my grandma, you can find her, she, she loves social media. Boy, let me tell you, grandma definitely loves social media. So we've been dealing with that. Uh, it hasn't been easy, so it hasn't.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes you don't find the motivation to record a podcast and make videos because sometimes you just have to look after yourself. There is a certain point in life that you get where you have to put yourself first before making content or content creation. And let me tell you, man, a lot of you guys have tried the content creation game right, oh, my god, I'm excited and all. It's cool in the beginning where, like you're so motivated, you feel like you know a lot of people will be listening to you. And then they see the numbers and they're like, damn, maybe, maybe I didn't think, I didn't think it was gonna go like that, you know, but for me, I actually genuinely love making content. I genuinely love sharing my journey, my experiences, um having people on my podcast to to share real life, because that's what we go through.

Speaker 1:

I don't do the click baiting. I don't do all of that. Maybe my thumbnails a little bit, but I'm talking about my content itself, what goes on in the video. I'm just sharing life because I believe that I have a gift of vulnerability, and a lot of people benefit from that, a lot of people that can't be vulnerable. Um, they get something out of it, and you know I I love sharing that. So it it.

Speaker 1:

It gets to a point sometimes, though, where you don't feel the motivation. You're just like man, I'm just going to take this time off, let me, let me relax, let me get some rest. Oh, by the way, part of the reason also is because I've had to go back to the office. Now you guys have heard of what's been going on with the federal government. I don't need to tell you, we don't need to Listen. If you want me to get mixy, I could, but right now we're going see how things settle down right, we're also not gonna be effing around, just you know, for the hell of it, we're, we're gonna see how things play out. We gotta play our cards right. But again now, listen, I'm not, I'm not afraid to talk about, about all of that, except you know, you, you guys know what's been going with the federal government.

Speaker 1:

So I, because of the executive orders that have been um passed um by the president, we've had to go back to the office, which, to be honest, if I'm being honest, I actually enjoy going to the office, but not because I actually just want to be there and like, oh, I need people to be around. No, that's cool and all at the beginning, that's pretty cool to see other faces, but you definitely do feel more productive. You feel like when you're in the office, you want to get work done, you're there to accomplish a mission and, of course, because of where I work, it feels more significant, although I will say I think a hybrid job is probably where it's at and, to be honest, if I could only go to the office once or twice a week, that would be perfect for me because I feel like it's a good balance, right? Although for some reason, in the federal government there is this how do I say this? There is this energy where people it's kind of boring atmosphere, it's kind of I don't want to say boring, no, that's not the right word it's just people mind themselves a lot Like. It's not like a like this atmosphere that you will feel like it may be in a private sector. You know what I mean. Where it's, uh, it's a different light to going into the office and the atmosphere is different.

Speaker 1:

The federal government not so much, and I've learned that because this again, this is my first time going to it, but it's all good. You know, I'm not complaining. Sometimes you got to put your hand down and you got to do what you got to do. You got to take care of business. You know what I mean. So that's been interesting and, of course, going to the office and obviously I have to wake up earlier, go to sleep earlier. My schedule for like a week or two was messed up because I have to get used to the routine again, right? So I've been going back and that in itself has been a little bit of a struggle for me because sometimes, you know, my health issue doesn't let me sleep very well. Sometimes I'm tired and I have to push it through. But I will say that I'm taking the steps that I can to try to rest, to try to relax, not to overdo myself.

Speaker 1:

Especially in HHS, after the 20,000 cuts that just happened within the federal government, the energy definitely was felt in the offices. Everybody can tell you this. This is not something that's a secret. You can tell that there was a stress, stressful energy around the office, you know, around the federal government, and dealing with that, on top of everything that I just told you, it's been a lot on me, man. It's been a lot a day at a time. I always tell people and I always tell myself remind myself a day at a time and, you know, try to.

Speaker 1:

These are the times that I feel like are best to even get closer to the Lord, right, whether you're a believer or not, for me I feel like it's something that I have to look at it in a certain, a different light and I'm like, well, this is a chance to, to kind of improve on my faith right, because it's easier to have faith when, when things are going well, but when things are going not so well, that's when you have to put it to use. That's why it's called faith right. So in these moments, um so, one of the things that have been helping me with, I started, uh, this year taking um kind of setting more of a goal for myself of trying to read the Bible as much as I can within a year. Now, I've known of this program called the Bible Recap. So shout out to Sarah Lee Cabo, who hosts, you know, and she does the audio.

Speaker 1:

So what happens is you read the Bible and, if I'm not mistaken but you can do research on this, in chronological order, and the goal is to read a certain amount of chapters, so within 365 days, you can read the whole Bible in one year. But let me tell you, man, this is a commitment, this is a commitment. I mean it's hard, but let me tell you, man, this is a commitment, this is a commitment. I mean it's hard. It's so difficult because it's so difficult to find time. Just like I mentioned earlier in regards to the motivation when people become content creators, same thing when you start something new, right, the motivation is different when you start, but it's the consistency and the discipline, right, the D word, not the one, don't get your head out the gutter. The discipline, the D word, that one, that's the one that you always need to keep and you kind of that's the one that keeps you going. Right, that's hard.

Speaker 1:

So typically you have to read around two, sometimes three, sometimes four chapters per day. What happens essentially is you read the Bible for those chapters, your daily chapters, and you read your chapters. Um, if you go, if you do the Bible recap, there's a book where you also have to read, which is like a page or two long. That kind of recaps what you just read. It simplifies it for you, right, so you can just understand what what you're reading the Bible is. To a lot of people it's complicated, it's long, uh, sometimes could be boring Sometimes. Uh, there are things that you read and you're just like it just complicated, it's long, sometimes, it could be boring. Sometimes there are things that you read and you're just like it just made no sense. But the great thing also about the Bible that sometimes what you read doesn't pertain to you that day, but there's other times that it does affect you in a different way and in a different light, and you know that's the beautiful part about it. You read sometimes what you need and sometimes even if you don't need it. You keep that in your head and as the day goes on, you'll remember that. You remember the stories right, and I figure in my walk and my faith.

Speaker 1:

It will be important for me to really grasp the Bible, because let me ask you a question, and I'll give you a couple of seconds to think about this when I'm talking about it, when you think of the Bible, what do you think about? Obviously, besides the Lord Jesus and the gospel itself. But what are some of the things that you think of the Bible? And you're just like, hmm, for me, I'm like it's a lot, right, it's big. A lot of stories, a lot of books that there's some books that you've never heard of, because a lot of the times you're reading the gospel, but there's so many books and so many stories that you're just like, man, this is a lot. How do I? One of the questions that I ask myself is like how do I? Even myself is like how do I even remember all of this? How do I even read all of this? Seriously, like it's a serious, serious question, and I know a lot of you guys are probably laughing, listening to me or watching me and you're like I got a point.

Speaker 1:

I know, because it's a lot, it's it's heavy man. It's not easy, because it's a lot, it's heavy man, it's not easy. But I'm not so fresh and new in my journey where I understand a lot of concepts in the Bible. And let me tell you something we're all different learners, right? I'm a very slow learning and I have no problem admitting that. I don't have insecurities when it comes to admitting things and my flaws. It's just again. Maybe another gift or maybe something I've worked on that's another story but I feel like I'm really good at grasping concepts and grasping concepts and a lot of times, applying it to certain things. Right Now. I'm not going to say it's perfect, but I feel like that's what I do better.

Speaker 1:

I can't just read something and understand it right away, especially the Bible. So with the Bible recap, you read and then you read like a summary of what happened and on top of that, sarah Lee Cobble the Bible recap. They have a podcast episode which each day, she summarizes what happened. But it's a farther explanation than just reading. You listen to it. Sometimes the episode can be five to eight minutes. You know it's a quick recap, that's why it's called recap of what you just read, and it's easier, right?

Speaker 1:

Sometimes, when I can't read the Bible, especially recently because I've been going to the office I've been feeling tired Not an excuse, but sometimes you slack. But I listen to the Bible on my way to work or if I don't have enough time, for whatever reason, I listen just to the recap what happened today. So tomorrow I will understand what's happening, and she does a really exceptional job at explaining what's going on. It's easier to understand. For people like me that don't grasp it. It's easier to understand. So reading that, reading the summary and then listening sticks a little bit better, right, in my sense.

Speaker 1:

It's going to take a lot of time for me to grasp a lot of the things that I'm reading, but I'm trying to understand the concepts. Why is it that this is happening? Why is God doing this at a certain time? And she explains that to you so you can understand a little bit better, which becomes easier for me. So right now, we just finished 100 days of the Bible recap and if you subtract 365 minus 100, that's 265. So we're almost a third of the way into completing the Bible, which is pretty cool, right.

Speaker 1:

But again, it's been tough man, it's been really hard. I think because of what I've gone through, I'm even more motivated to learn about the Lord. Maybe I'm going through more of these episodes and this little journey in my life so I can get closer to him. I don't know, you have to look at the positive side, right. So that's been, I mean, something that I feel like has been helping me in that sense. And you know, once you go through a lot of stuff in life, you look at life a little bit different. So I'm planning on continuing that journey and even if I can't read the verses or the chapters, I should say that specific day I will still listen to the Bible recap and catch up, right. Again, it's not perfect reading the Bible.

Speaker 1:

Even people who have been in the game right, who have been saved for a while, who have been reading the Bible and all this, bro, it's sometimes life be lifing and you forget about certain things, uh, and sometimes the important things in your life, because life takes over, which is natural that you have to lock back in and get back to work. Right, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's a process, but I've been enjoying it. So that's what I've been also doing with my time and that's the reason I've also haven't been very active when it comes to my YouTube channel, my life and stuff like that. Again, listen, I have not lost any motivation when it comes to podcasting at all, like I haven't. If anything, I've gained more motivation because I have more to share. It's just sometimes life hits you a little bit different.

Speaker 1:

I mean, think about when I started the podcast episodes. We started really, really good. When it comes, like the podcast was, it was popping, man, I enjoyed it. But due to a lot of different things and some of what I have just explained, you have to slow down a little bit, right, but the podcast and the content itself, man, I enjoy it, I love it. It's it's something that's like, um, I can do. It's natural to me. Look, I've probably been talking for like 20 minutes already or so and it just comes more naturally to me than, uh, other things.

Speaker 1:

Right, I actually had a, a friend reach out to me who had been in the podcast, who is giving me an opportunity to try and grow his brand when it comes to creating a podcast for his brand. Now I'm thinking, I'm considering the opportunity because, again, I have a lot on my plate right now. But even then, you know, even that opportunity, seeing people, that, seeing people seeing you that you do something pretty well and you know they're willing to try and work something with you and hopefully one day you can kind of, you know, I could kind of take over that space for his company, I don't know, I I'm going to think about it. You know I have to pray about it and then see where that takes us, um, so so we'll see. But I, you know, keep, keep your, keep your eyes open, um, keep your ears open. I might pull up with something like that. We'll see, um, how the days go and stuff of that nature. But that's, you know, that part of my life is, you know, pretty exciting. Again, it's not the easiest thing, but we take it a day at a time.

Speaker 1:

I wonder if I was, like, really in complete health, how much I would be accomplishing when it comes to reaching more people, creating content, things of that nature. I think I would be doing so much. A lot of my time would probably be doing this because it's awesome, of that nature I think I will be doing so much. A lot of my time will probably be doing this, because it's awesome when people come into my podcast and they come into this little setup, which is little, but I consider it pretty professional, especially for the equipment that I have and the lights I mean the fireplace in the background, by the way, if you see this light back here, the good vibes only shout out to my brother because he broke it. He stepped on the USB cable that lights, lights it up, that connects it and lights it up, and now it's broken. So it's, that is dead. I have to buy a new one. So shout out to marvin for, uh, breaking my good vibes.

Speaker 1:

Only, I actually really really liked, uh, the, the, the, what would this be called? The light, yeah, the light, I really. So I gotta buy a new one, though maybe it gives me a chance to to buy a different one. Uh, maybe this one's kind. I feel like it was getting a little, a little old, but good vibes only, I always enjoy good vibes. It's hey, sometimes we just, we just be chilling, we just be vibing and, um, I'm gonna buy a new one.

Speaker 1:

I don't know which one, though if you have any ideas, I would definitely take some suggestions. What could I have in my background that would make it cooler, stand out even more? Um, maybe this light was too bright, I don't know, hey, but your, hey, your light can never be too bright. You know what I'm saying? Damn, hold up Shakespeare. Let me slow down real quick chat, um, but yeah, so all of that combined, by the way, I lost my train of thought when I was going with this. If it catch up, I'll come back. Catch up, like mayonnaise, shout out Lil Wayne.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, man, so that's what's been going on with my life. I mean, it's been a, it's been, it's been, uh, a wild year, let me tell you. And this upcoming year, uh, I mean, at least this summer, the World Cup, um, it's going to come next year, right, this year, the club World Cup, which I'm planning on going to a lot of different games and, like you know, you got to take it a day at a time, cause if I think too far ahead, I'm just like what if this, what if I don't feel well? What if that, what if this hits me? And it's just your brain, man, it starts going into a lot of different places, a lot of rewiring that you have to do. You know what? Talking about health in general, have you ever thought about how much your trauma in your past has rewired your nervous system? Oh, this is deep, right. Oh, chat, all right. All right, this is deep.

Speaker 1:

I hope for the few of you guys that have stayed listening to this podcast. I want you guys to think about something. Think about how much your trauma from your past doesn't matter what kind physical, emotional, I listen spiritual, some people have been church hurt. You never know. Just think about how much that trauma has affected who you are now. Because we as humans man, we're complicated, but in the same sentence, we are beautiful. The way our body works, man is just the more you understand. It is just wow, it's a machine and it's a beautiful thing, right. But if you think about how your trauma in the past, the things that you have gone through mentally, physically, emotionally, how much that changes you who you are right. A lot of the time, if it's trauma, obviously it's not changing you for the best, because it's affecting now who you are and how you think and how you wire, and you're wired a certain way, right, but eventually you start rewiring with your experiences and your nervous system gets hit by it, right? Let me give you a prime example for myself and I've talked to one of my friends before about this, because it can become, you know, spiritual. But let me, I'm gonna let you hear it and then you can make your own opinions.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes, when I get excited, whatever type of excitement, whatever happiness, right, uh, the good emotions, I will call those good, good, good emotions because you feel like something good is going to happen or supposed to happen. Right, that's why you're happy, that's why you're excited. But In the same emotion, right away, my body and my brain starts making me feel worried, starts making me feel concerned, starts making me feel anxious. Right, because I've read, and you guys can maybe do your research on this obviously the same place where those emotions come from, so does your nervous, you know, your anxiety, um, within your nervous system, right, your happiness, your excitement. So my, my, my body, my brain, when it's something good, it's going to happen to me, or, um, I feel like something is going to happen, or maybe I'm happy, I'm excited, for whatever reason, then I start getting worried and anxious. Right Now, you can look at it at many different.

Speaker 1:

Well, at least two different ways, right. The physical, the normal, the physical, your nervous system, maybe, the trauma you face now, your body confused, your brain confuses what's supposed to be good and what's supposed to be bad. Or you can look at it from the spiritual, which is what if you, every time that God has something good for you for me in this case he attacks you and he wants to press you down, oppress you, because he knows? One, that you have suffered from this. And two, he wants to keep you there, right. And three, he doesn't want the good that God has for you. It makes sense, right, even if you think about it that way, right. But it also makes sense scientifically, naturally, with the rewiring and what's been going on. Both make sense. Two things could be true right, we are physical beings.

Speaker 1:

Obviously, the enemy can be playing with your physical health, emotions, nervousness in this case, to make you think otherwise. Right. And sometimes I have to slow down and just kind of let things go by. I feel like sometimes I can't be enjoying things too much because it's like wait, wait, wait. You know, and it's not that I'm negative, because I don't believe I'm a negative person.

Speaker 1:

I don't think I get this far in life if I'm, you know, always negative, right, there's something within me that I feel like God puts in everybody. You know you're meant for greatness, right, there's something within me that I feel like God puts in everybody. You know you're meant for greatness, right, the Bible speaks about all the time God wants the best for you, um, and you were meant for greatness and a purpose. So, if you're leading down a road where, um, you're getting closer, or maybe you're trying to achieve your purpose, uh, you're going to to become or be great in this life, then essentially, of course, then the enemy will try to oppress, that attack you in a certain way, right? I mean, I I would say everybody can relate to this, and the only reason I I don't say that is is because I got another question for you guys, and this is a real, real deep question how many of you guys that are listening right now can fully say I know my purpose in life, what's the purpose that God has for me?

Speaker 1:

I know my purpose in life, what's the purpose that God has for me? Can you answer that and fully say this is your purpose, this is what you were put on this earth to be or to become? That's a deep question, right? What were you on this earth put here to be? Why did God give you life? What's your purpose? What's his purpose behind that Like? Have you found that yet? And on my end I feel like I have. But I also feel like there's a lot to keep learning as well. Like this whole life, it's a journey. It sounds cliche, but it is a journey. When you constantly try to keep growing and learning, you feel like you've accomplished or you've gotten to a certain point and God says you ain't seen nothing yet. Homie, let me show you this Boom, Let me hit you with this. Let life hit you with this so you can see what I did here. You can come out on top here. Or maybe let me keep you here because you're not ready for this yet. It's a lot. It's a lot.

Speaker 1:

And one of the things when you get saved that Christians don't tell you is hey, you thought you was worst off before. Just wait, because the enemy will attack you even more now that you're trying to get closer to God, because he doesn't want you to leave that life. Right, when you get closer to your purpose, to the walk with Christ, your intimacy with the Lord, the enemy gets upset. He gets mad. Why? Because obviously he doesn't want you to be saved. He doesn't want you to live on forever, because he already knows his ending. We know our ending, but his ending it's not the good one, right? He, god, looks at us and he loves us. He cares for us. Right, it was life. So the enemy is jealous of what you have. He doesn't want you to go away from what he has you.

Speaker 1:

Why do you think that when, when you know you're not doing taking all the steps to get closer to the Lord, why do you think the enemy is cool with you doing whatever, whatever, whatever that you want? Right, because he has you where he wants you. It's not hard. That concept, remember, concepts, remember I told you the beginning of this podcast, the concepts. That's not hard to understand and, by the way, I didn't think that this episode was going to get to this point, but here we are right. So let's keep getting mixy with it, but that in itself is an important concept to understand. So he keeps you where he wants you and you fulfill his plans and his purpose. Right, but a lot of Christians don't tell you and the people around you like, hey, be prepared for what you're about to go through, because you're about to go through probably even more than what you have been going through right Now.

Speaker 1:

Don't get me wrong it is beautiful, but at the beginning it maybe takes longer for most people to understand. It's hard, and it can take some time. 100%, because now the enemy attacks you deeper, with more weapons. The great thing now, though, this fight you're fighting, you've already won it, because God promised you that, right. He promised that you will win, and we have to remind ourselves to fight from victory, not for the victory, right, because we've already won for victory. So when you keep going on that path, in that journey, then it becomes easier to understand for the brain.

Speaker 1:

Now there are some things that I will never understand, and a lot of us if not all of us, to be honest. All of us will never understand when it comes to God and his plans and his purpose, because His understanding is bigger than mine, than ours will ever be right. We just we don't know and we will probably never know, but again, this is where this is why it's called faith. Again, another concept understanding that. This is why it's called faith. Again, another concept understanding that and I'm going through a season myself that I'm having to try and apply that every day right, and when you're going through it, it's not easy, man, it's not easy. So I'm here to tell you that if you are going through the walk with Christ and trying to get closer, maybe try to find your way to have more an intimate relationship with him, it's okay. If you feel like you know it's worse than before. Again, we wouldn't be Christians if we didn't go through that, if we didn't.

Speaker 1:

And this is why, coming full circle, when you read stories in the Bible, you have to understand and read them. This is the importance of reading the Bible, because you get to see what his people, his disciples from the beginning, the people from the beginning of Genesis, right and forward, what they had to go through, and you can see the amount of times they failed. And it makes you come back to reality and say you know what they were humans too. They also failed and God was so gracious with them Time and time again. You know you will think sometimes that from what you hear from the Bible, you hear some stories sometimes where God speaks to them and they spoke to them.

Speaker 1:

I'm just like man. God was right here. He spoke to you and you still didn't listen. What does it take for me to listen? I was like what, if that was me? What would you do? That's deep right. Like you start thinking like man, you're so quick to judge sometimes, but again, we're humans and our understanding will never match his. So when you understand what he did for the people in the Bible and you start understanding concepts and you try to apply those to your life, because you know he's the same God that he was back then than he is today right, and he shows the constant love, the constant times. We mess up all the time and we constantly do in our struggles or weaknesses. We all have weaknesses. I could tell you about my weaknesses all day, um, but it's part of the process, it's part of the journey.

Speaker 1:

So, reminding myself and reading the Bible and in ourselves, I should say, and getting into that point right, where you just get more of where he was coming from, then that journey has been interesting. I feel like it's one of the first times in my life where I've done that. You know I was saved in 2019, but, dude, I've been. Let me tell you, man, let me scratch my head with that one. It's been a journey. It's been a freaking journey, bro, so um, but that's been helping me with what I love. What's going through.

Speaker 1:

Again, I didn't intend for this to get to this point, but I feel like it came full circle and this is where we're going to leave off, because I feel like this is a perfect time to cut this off. I would love to get more deep into this conversation because I feel like I've learned, and I'm learning a lot with my journey in my life, that I want you guys to hear and to listen and maybe to grasp certain things Right and things right. So you yourself, when you know you're going through some stuff, remind yourself of again my stories, my experiences and people from in your life people, your friends, your family and people from the Bible. Just think about what they've gone through and what you've gone through. One of the things that I constantly say because of the Bible recap it's at the end. She always says he's where the joy is, and I keep saying that nowadays because it's just, it's a good, it's a cool catch, it's a cool phrase to to, to think about. So I'm gonna leave you guys off with that.

Speaker 1:

I'm glad I can make another podcast episode just to catch up a little bit and hopefully you guys enjoy it. I would like to continue making more podcast episodes and there's people. I'm telling you, I have people planned to be here and to keep sharing deep stories. There are some people that want to come back and I would love to have them again. We just have to plan it out. Time has to be right. I have to be feeling, you know, okay for sure, because I gotta look after myself. But I'm telling you, man, it's been fun, it's been a journey. Hopefully you learned, you got something from this today.

Speaker 1:

It wasn't a waste of your time. By the way, I can't stand that sometimes, where people, if it done, if it done, if wow, that's how you know it's time to cut the episode. But let me finish with this and maybe we can get into another topic with this. I dislike people who, if the time they spent doing something didn't benefit them, it's considered a waste instead of a lesson or a learning experience. It was a waste of my time and I'm talking about deep stuff, not just. You know you spent five hours in traffic and you know that is a waste of time.

Speaker 1:

But you can look at things a different way, but I'm saying there's a lot of things in life that people look at and they're just like it's a waste of my time. I didn't. No, dude, you can look at things a little bit different. We've all done it. I've been there. I'm not, I'm not saying I haven't, but I think when you start rewiring oh, full circle again Some stuff in your life, you know it things start clicking a little bit easier. But I hope that you guys are doing good.
