Conversations on Health: Headache and Head Pressure
Embarking on a new venture is always a mix of nerves and excitement, and that's exactly what I'm feeling as I introduce my very own merchandise line. It's apparel with a purpose, emblazoned with an inspirational quote that's close to my heart, and my signature to boot. But this episode isn't just about fashion statements—it's a candid look into my world, from the personal battles with headaches and migraines that have tested my faith and resilience, to the everyday challenges of keeping fit after chest trauma. As I share these stories, I invite you to find comfort in our shared struggles and perhaps see a reflection of your own perseverance in mine.
Sometimes life throws you a curveball, and you just have to swing with all your might. That's what happened with my unexpected hospital visit, a sobering reminder of the fragility of health and the complex dance between anxiety and physical symptoms. As I recount the vertigo spells and the daunting maze of medical scans, you'll get an intimate glance into the highs and lows that accompany such experiences. But it's not all heavy—there's room for lighter musings on Real Madrid's soccer struggles, the adrenaline of Call of Duty league, and some UFC excitement. But again, for everybody who has been listening and supporting my channel, appreciate it very, very much. In today's topic, I'm gonna be discussing a little bit of what's been going on in my life lately. You know, I have it's been about two weeks since I've dropped a video. And obviously, there is a reason for that because I've been going through it again. And like I always mention, you know, if it's not one thing or another. So for those of you guys who are listening right now, if you guys are half suffer from headaches or migraines or head issues, stick around. Please stick around because you're gonna be able to hear my story. And, also, maybe you can give me some feedback on some of the things that has helped you or what's going on, or even if you're listening and watching, just just just listen out because I don't understand even what's going on with me, but I'm gonna give you the rundown on things. Give you update on my life. So let's get right into it. Let's start talking about what happened. So several I think it was about two weeks ago. So a week and a half ago, I should say, on Tuesday, I've been going to the gym a lot lately. And I've been actually trying to, you know, get it some muscle in me. I figured I'm young, you know, if I live some weight that are, you know, lightweight, not anything crazy because heavyweights is lifting heavyweights for me now, especially all the trauma that I've had in my chest, has been something that kind of makes me feel worse whenever I'm done working out or maybe even during the workout, I feel like a lot of blood rushes into my head and it gives me dizziness so much easier than I used to. For people that lift weights, they know this feeling of when you're about to, for example, squat. Right? And if you're squatting and you don't breathe, you can literally pass out from squatting or lift or deadlifting or anything like that. I don't do squats like that anymore. Freeway squats. I don't get lift because obvious reasons, you know, that the chest trauma that I've had with all the surgeries. It's not good for me and it causes my heart rate to go way too high than I would like and it's not comfortable. Right? It's not I don't feel like it's healthy. So what I do is do low weights and I try to concentrate on that as much as possible even though sometimes because I used to go to the gym so much when I was younger, I still, you know, I still like to go hard a little bit, but it's hard not to, especially when you're motivated, you're in the gym, you know, I've been sick for so long. Like, I I wanna I wanna keep it going. You get that you get that pump going. Right? Well, I went to the I've been going to the gym. And one day, I went to the gym back to back. And typically, for girth sufferers or people who have had high end or hernia repairs, you get that surgery and you repair it, but sometimes you're left with that, like, that discomfort and pain. And in my case, I was kinda left with, like, this you know, whenever I put too much pressure or squeeze my diaphragm or my abdomen muscles, it causes my heart to raise way, way too much, so I have to stretch it. And I have to kinda what what is called the release of the diaphragm. And I usually do that through breathing exercises, but sometimes that even takes too long So I try to kind of push my diaphragm a little bit, even like, breathe in, hold my breath, and kind of push my diaphragm a little bit. Well, even that in itself causes me to, you know, get light headed because of holding my breath for so long. Right? Which, again, this is I don't I don't believe this is, you know, healthy. So, you know, disclaimer out there. Just gotta gotta let you guys know that, you know, it's not something you should be doing. But sometimes I do it because I don't want that discomfort in my chest. Right? But this time around, I really felt like it was something that caused me to have a little bit more light headedness in my head that I would like, and I continued to work out So later on in the day, I came back, you know, a couple hours later or several hours later, I started feeling this pressure on my head, just pressure. And the pressure described is basically, again, when you work out, when you feel that pressure headache, it's called an external headache or something like all along those lines I was reading. And, you know, that headache causes, you know, to have so much pressure and so much blood rush into your head. And it makes you feel sometimes a little bit of light headedness. It gives you it gives so much pressure on the temple section of both sides and on the top of my head. To some extent, I also felt it on my forehead and then in the back. So I'm like, yo, what's going on? So I decided to take a title. For it. Right? Five hundred milligrams is one tablet, you know. I don't suffer from headache, so I wasn't too concerned about it. You know, I will sleep it off and move on to the next day. In the next day, I woke up. I felt decently. And I felt good. And I was like, alright. Well, let's let's keep a pushing. Let's keep a moving. And throughout the day, I feel like that same pressure and pain and, you know, I won't even say more pain, but it was just pressure. Right? It kept coming and it wouldn't leave and I'm like, yo, like, what's going on? That bled into the third day and fourth day and I'm like, something's going on. Like, I'm I don't and this is one of the things that I've never suffered from. Now my mom, I would say, does suffer from migraines, and she's had migraines for forever. But it doesn't I don't know if this feels like a migraine because I've never had it. Right? So I'm gonna explain to you, like, the process of what I went through with all of that in a little bit with the doctors and stuff and and how I went to the and and all that good stuff. So I've never had that pressure feeling. I know my mom suffers from it, but I don't know exactly what migraines feel like, and I'm just like, yo, like, this is It doesn't feel too good. So it kinda feels How do I explain this? The the head in that I'm feeling feels like it's kinda empty in my head? Like, you kind of feel lost? You know what I mean? Like, lost like Nemo a little bit? Like, it feels way to, like, you don't know what's going on slash it's pressure. So you you don't even wanna, you know, deal with it because it bothers you. Sometimes I feel like light bothers me, but sometimes I feel like it doesn't. Like, I don't know. You know what I mean? It's very weird. I would also add that I've suffered one time from vertigo, and it also kinda give gives me the feeling of, like, I am having busyness, like, spells, or I feel like, again, like, a little kinda weak. It's it's very weird. I don't know how to explain it. Maybe sometimes I always thinking it because I see my health anxiety doesn't doesn't approve and it doesn't help with this at all. So there are four days arrived. And I'm like, you know what? You know, the next day, I'm gonna go to to to the urgent care. Hopefully they give me something. At least let me talk to a doctor and let's see what they say. So look guys, I know I've had a lot of health things society because of obvious reasons. Right? But I've gotten better at not, like, start like, suffering from a symptom and then going to the doctor right away. Right? Because I don't want it to get worse. The reason I don't want it to get worse is because it makes my other symptoms worse and it makes my life miserable. Right? It just makes me not wanna live, if I'm being honest. So I give it, you know, three, four days for it to go away. But at one point, I'm like, okay, now it's concerning. Now I need to go to to get that checked. Right? So so I did. I want to get that checked to the urgent care. I told them what's going on. They asked about symptoms of, you know, if I was having, you know, numbness on my face or if I was feeling some type of, you know, tingling here or issues that I concern for, like, like, really medical emergencies. And I didn't have any signs of those. It was just like that pressure feeling. So they gave me some what I'm a pronounce I'm a botch. This is what it's called Torando shot. They gave it to me. And by the way, that shot hurts. They put it in my butt, and I haven't had Okay. That's not a pretty one. They they put it on my butt muscle. Okay. Let's let's go with that. They put it on my butt muscle. In the tour the tornado shot, like, the actual site. It's pretty painful if I be honest. But it was all good. You know, I I thought that was gonna help me and it was gonna relieve my headache. When I've gone to the hospital with my mom and when she's had major headaches, they're they they have given her that and it has helped her with my case throughout the day, I was it was not I I wasn't feeling like it was helping much. And I'm like, man, now I'm concerned because if that doesn't, it's not helping me a lot, If Torto is not helping me a lot, then I need to go get checked, you know, and try to get some scans or something. But if I wait to go to a neurologist, it's gonna take months or at least as she said, weeks. Right? And for want to be available. And then after that, they're gonna tell me to go get a scan right away anyways. So I'm like, why don't I just go to the go to the the hospital, let them know what's going on, kinda reverse the process where I get checked at the hospital. And then if everything is good, one, I have a peace of mind and two, I'm able to go to send an appointment with a urologist, which now I have a referral from the hospital. Right? And then I can talk to about what else is going on, what it could be, or what's happening. Right? And that's what I did. So I go to the hospital, I tell them what's going on, you know, I explained, you know, the symptoms that I have, the physician assistant was like, well, let's try to get some scans done. I think it'll be just good to, you know, just to be on the safe side. And I appreciate that. You know, I haven't had a scan in a very long time in general. When it comes to with having IV in contrast. So I was a little nervous because last time I had I scan with contrast, my heart rate, I wanted to take a cardio. So I was really concerned, but this time I was like, man, it's my head, and I have to just sock it up. Like, I have to just really hang on to my faith and just go with it because I need to make sure that my head is is good. You know, I'm not having So what we're checking for was, like, aneurysms or bleedings or hemorrhages, I think it's called. And I was like, okay. You know, let's go through with it. And when I was inside the the the the the scan. Right? The machine. I just felt like I was getting really nervous and I was just like, Lord. I was like, Jesus, I need you. Jesus, I need you. Jesus, I need you. Jesus, I need you. And I need to help you get out get through this because it's such a moment of uncertainty because of the IV So when I went in, they originally put the the scan without the the the contrast. Right? And eventually, what they told me was will let you know when the when the contrast is going in, so you're aware of it. So once he you know, once I went in the first time, came back out, and then I went in, they were like, okay, the contrast is coming in. Through your IV. And I was like, oh my god. Here we go. So I start feeling it through my right arm, you know, and it goes through my chest, and I feel like get to, like, you know, my, like, my heart section or my mid section, like, my chest section, and my heart starts raising, but I'm just breathing, man. I'm concentrating my breathing just and how just breathing, just concentrating on my breathing, then I start feeling the the contrast, you know, in my in my bladder section because that some one of the symptoms or at least one of the feelings that you get, and I'm just breathing and concentrating and breathing and concentrating and breathing. And to one point, my heart was raising, and I know it went over, like, a hundred for sure. But I knew that everything was gonna be alright afterwards. Like, I knew that the IV had a you know, the the contrast hadn't gotten me too crazy. Or my heart rate going too crazy. Plus, I was nervous. So I kept concentrating on my breathing as much as I could and just concentrating on god and just concentrating on getting that over with you know, just looking at the other side of of the test. And eventually I got through it, you know. And my heart rate went down. I I left the the the room, went back to to my to to where they had me the the the room or whatever or whatever. And I waited for about two hours, two, three hours to get my results or some change like that. And in between time, they gave me some IV you know, because they also took some lot of work and they always give you IV fluids when you go to the hospital just in case you're dehydrated, which a lot of people suffer from. So originally, one of the things that I thought in people told me was maybe you're dehydrated, but I'm like, man, I drink a lot of water. Like, I'm drinking a lot of water, excuse me, if you hear my dogs outside, by the way, but they're never quiet. But I was like, I drink a lot of water throughout the day, so I don't know. And when my blood work came back, it turned out that I was not dehydrated from what the blood work showed, so that was a good thing. But I felt like, you know, you know, the IV also helped a little bit. They also put a medicine for the headache that helped me a little bit, but it gets you sleepy. It gets you drowsy. So I was falling asleep in the in the emergency room. I was just I was just you know, wobbling my head because it gets you really sleepy like that. That's the type of medication that knocks you out and it makes you feel so much better. It makes you feel so good. Right? So I'm waiting for there. I get my results back and it turns out that it wasn't anything major. Right? Nothing, you know, no bleedings, no clots, And if you understand the contrast, if you never had anything with contrast in your in your body in general, What happens with the contrast is that it highlights your veins, your arteries, so they can't see any clots, any damages, any bleeding, damages. I mean, you name it. All of it, aneurysms, they can't see that whenever or wherever the IV the contrast is highlighting. So that is something really cool that you know, nowadays technology is just so cool and so dope. So they saw everything and they didn't see anything major. Although, some of the reportings showed it. This still the first of all, alright, the way that They write that description of, like, the summary of, like, the test results. It's definitely for the most part, for doctors and professionals to understand. Because some of it, I have no idea what they're talking about. But it's a good it's a from my understanding, it is a good thing because the the p a came back and he was like, everything looks good. You know, it's nothing major. You should follow-up by a neurologist and that's what I did. But I was trying to read my chart and see what it was saying. And I was just like, what is it saying? Like, medical terms are so difficult, man. I really wish at some point that I would have became a doctor or some some type of medical professional because reading the charts and reading test response would have been so much easier. And just understanding I'm not saying that it's not it wouldn't be difficult, but it's just it would have been easier for me and for me to have a peace of mind. Even after suffering from health issues for a very long time, I still don't know so many medical terms, but from what I was reading and I was grasping, I understood that it was good. But there was some terms there that concerned me a little bit because it showed, like, the It wasn't anything major, but it showed a little bit of something. It's what I'm trying to say. So I will talk and go over those test results with a neurologist. So I have my appointment next week but I still from the, like, from the headache part, I've gotten a little bit better, but I'm still having that pressure feeling that feeling of pressure. I mean, even when I'm wearing these headphones. Right? I got to play video games a lot. A lot of you guys know there's someone I'm playing video games and I have my headset, even that pressure of having the headset makes the pressure increase and it makes me feel like, you know, that headache feeling a lot more. And I'm just like, even that is bothering me. You know, even these probably will bother me afterwards after I'm done recording. And I'll feel some type of pressure on the top of my head. And at this point, I'm just like, I don't know what's going on. I've read a lot about a lot of different things. But obviously, I've gotten my my head, you know, checked. And that seems to be healthy. So at least that concern and that peace of mind I can have, but I'm still dealing with those issues and You know, some some of my friends also mentioned could it be the Poland? And I'm like, I don't know. I've never suffered from Poland. Like, I've never had allergies. I'm not saying that, you know, that I won't be able to suffer now and later on in life, it is a possibility, but I've never suffer from. I'm never suffering from headaches or head pains in my life ever. And I'm wondering if that could be like a new symptom that I'm building or having. And I'm just like, man, that could be, you know, some some concern. I'm like, is the age really hitting me that bad, you know? But all I can think and go back to is what happened at the gym. Right? All that pressure, when you're lifting weights, Even if it's lightweight, it still bothers me to some extent because there's a lot of blood that's going into your head and your veins and and whatnot. So I'm gonna see the urologist. I'm gonna talk to him or her next week over just a video video call and see what they think what they maybe what could help me or give me some guidance as to what it could be so I can prevent other things so it won't happen. Again, it has gotten a little bit better, but it hasn't gone away completely. So, you know, if you guys have any tips or concerns or maybe comments that you wanna, you know, mention a run by if you suffer from headaches for a long time. You know, I would love to hear that. I would love to hear that in in in the YouTube description or, you know, you can find me on social media as well. Because I'm still trying to figure out what's going on, man. You know, it's not pleasant. It's not very pleasant. For example, other things bending over, you know, when you bend over, a lot of pressure goes into your head, but for me, it's even more sensitive now. Because I really feel that pressure. Again, I don't know if this is due because of what I've been suffering with, you know, the head issues for the last week and a half or two weeks, Or is it something is it something new that I'm building that's maybe coming from my chest to my head? What's going on? Right? That's that's what I'm trying to figure out. And that's one of the reasons why I didn't even, you know, record a podcast last week or record any episodes because I didn't wanna have to do anything with it. And today, I'm feeling, you know, a little bit more motivated Typically, when I'm recording videos, I feel more a little bit more life, you know, a little bit more motivated to to record and to to to bring content to you guys. But I figured this would be a perfect time just to record a podcast episode, get the podcast out the way, and also make sure that you guys have content for you guys and keep you updated in my life because men It's getting crazy, man. I don't know if this is the age ladies and gentlemen because I want I just turned thirty one, so I'm like, if I keep going like this, this is not looking good. This is not looking good. I might have to just eat fruits and vegetables for the rest of my life just to, you know, keep it safe. Because I need to I think the warranty from the factory has right now, I can't go back. And get replacements, man. It's it's getting worse. We always have a joke with my friends. I'm like, especially with sick friends. I'm like, we need to go back to the factory, bro. We need to get returned and we need to get a new one or something. We need a new batch or something. Because it's a struggle, man. It's a struggle. It's a struggle. It's a struggle. So We'll see what happens. We'll see where we go from there. I'm not doing anything. I'm not even working now at the moment because my headaches have been really bad. And I don't wanna push anything anything farther. I wanna talk to a professional first. They gave me the option to talk to a nurse, and I was like, no. No. No. No. Give me one with a with a actual neurologist. Is a neurologist? It is a urologist. I said a urologist at one point, but not in this podcast before, so I'm trying to make sure I'm I got the turn right. But yeah. I was like, I need to talk to a neurologist. A hundred percent, I need to talk to a neurologist, so I can get their professional opinion, see what they say. I don't know if I could do any other testings. By the way, I was also reading I almost forgot this. That What about if it's like it is sleep apnea that's affecting my head. Right? What about if it's it's like sleeping, my snoring, remember that I made a video, my uveitis, several weeks ago, one of that's also playing us a role into why my headache is not fading away or it created that headache pressure or issues Right? I don't know. It could be a lie, but You know, it is what it is. It'd be like that sometimes. It's what I like. It's what I like to call it. But will see what happens? Keep you guys updated. I don't want I don't I don't wanna keep yapping. You know, I don't speak yapanese. I don't wanna keep yapping over the the same thing. But it is, I wanted to bring an update to to my life and my health. But in the meantime, I've been, you know, just working lightly. I've been trying to take as many naps, which I can't really take naps because of my girdle. Doesn't allow me to take naps. I've been watching soccer. Yo. Did you guys see the real Madrid version of Manchester United game? I mean, matches our city game. Sign that game was a panger. I'm upset. I'm a huge Raminger fan. I've been a Raminger fan all my life. And I am upset because we should have won that game and went to Mattressa City with a lead and you know, the our our role to getting into the semi the UC UCL semi finals would have been so much easier but that's not the way it played out. And now we have a big task ahead of us. And in order for when for us to win at at Citi is gonna be It's gonna take a lot of miracles. Let me tell you, it's gonna take almost a perfect game plan from real Madrid because those those guys were there, man, they're ballers they are ballers. So hopefully, you know, around Madrid passes through. I'm really excited for the game. And, hopefully, we don't get ran through like we did last time. Think we got four zeros, four nil. Last year, let's not happen again. You know, let's let's put a bug gunfight at least. But, hey, real round with Jordan. Anything to happen anything happened. So I'm excited for that as well. Call of Duty is back. I enjoy Call of Duty a lot. If you guys don't know, watching it, I bet on Call of Duty. If you don't know, you can bet on Call of Duty. Did you know that on video games now? You can bet you can bet. So this is why Call of Duty is even more interesting right now because the CDL you can bet on players getting over and under kills. By the way, this is not a promotion because I don't have, you know, price big commercial or price bigs. If you have price bigs in your in your city, you can bet on Call of Duty and you can bet to over the engineers on players even from, like, maps one to one to one through three. Wow. You can bet the overs or the unders, and you can put different parleys for different matches. Even different maps like my one, my two, my three. And if it goes to my four and five, you can still bet on that, which is really dope. I've like, it gets, you know, they know what they're doing because it gets the juices flowing, your competitive juices flowing. And if you're rooting for the team and you're also betting, it doesn't get any better than that, you know. So you have c three hundred, would have by the time this episode comes out, it would have had been that Saturday. So this is a Friday. So tomorrow, Saturday, which suits you. I'm gonna record it with my friends and I'm gonna try to make a video of our reactions to UFC three hundred because I've always wanted to do reaction videos and I think that sport event would have been perfect to start making a UFC three hundred for the first time and make a reaction with this to a sport live event. We're not I'm not gonna be their life, but we're gonna be watching that life. So expect that video as well. Probably gonna release that on if it's Saturday, after Tuesday after this episode comes out, I'm probably Actually, no. I might release it even sooner. You know why? Because I wanted to to come out as soon as you know, maybe Sunday or Friday because you need that content to be coming out quick, you know, after three hundred, people got the blood flow and they wanna know wanna see more reactions. They wanna see more videos about the actual event. So I'll leave it at that, guys. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you guys for watching. Let's not keep speaking Japanese because I only speak Spanish and English. And sometimes my Spanish is chalked and sometimes my English is chalked. But it'd be like that sometimes. By the way, the merch guys listen I appreciate you guys who have supported. I know some of you guys have supported my channel and, you know, this is another way you can't support the channel. Everything that I earned from which is not a lie. I'm gonna be transparent about, like, twenty, twenty five percent of what I make for myself because I don't do any of the work. Right? They do all the work and they just give me a little bit back. But even all that money, I put that back into my channel so I can make better content for you guys. I invest in better equipment. I have got some better cameras, better phones. And then I start thinking about new ideas on what I can do to support it. So you can buy this exact shirt. It's gonna be on the on the video.
